🎯 Objective

In Pie Splat! Players mix ingredients into a Pie Bowl using number-based ingredients to bake Golden Pies (e.g., 20, 25, 30). The player with the most points at the end wins!

💡 Example: A player bakes a 20-Point Golden Pie and a 25-Point Golden Pie → Their total score is 20 + 25 = 45 points. The player with the most points (not just the most pies) wins the game!

 

🥧 Game Setup

1️⃣ Set Up the Pie Stand – Shuffle and place the Golden Pies (20, 25, 30, etc.) face up in a stack at the center of the table. These represent the pies that players will try to bake!
2️⃣ Shuffle the Ingredient Deck – This includes all Ingredient Cards and Special Pie Trick Cards. Deal 5 Ingredient Cards to each player. Place the remaining cards face down as the draw pile.
3️⃣ Choose the First Baker – The youngest player starts (because they’re most likely to make a mess first! 😆).
4️⃣ The Pie Bowl Starts Empty! – The Pie Bowl begins with  0 ingredients.
5️⃣ Tracking the Pie Bowl – One player keeps track of the Pie Bowl total using paper, a calculator, phone or mentally (but be careful—things can get messy in the kitchen!).

 

🎭 Turn Structure

1️⃣ Mixing Ingredients into the Pie Bowl

• Choose an Ingredient Card from your hand and toss it into the Pie Bowl.

• Announce what you’re adding or removing!

  • Addition (+) and Subtraction (-): Say any ingredient!

    • Example: “+10 strawberries!” or “-5 socks!”

  • Multiplication (×) and Division (÷): Just state the action!

    • Example: “Multiplying the mixture by 3!” or “Dividing the mixture by 2!”

• 🚨 No ruined pies! You CANNOT play a card if it results in:

  • A negative number in the bowl (No negative apples! 🍏)

  • A fraction in the bowl (No half-eggs! 🥚)

  • A Pie Bowl over 100 (That’s way too much pie! 😱)

• If you can’t play, discard an ingredient card and draw a fresh one from the draw pile—your turn ends.

 

2️⃣ Bake a Golden Pie!

• If the Pie Bowl total exactly matches a Golden Pie recipe total, you successfully bake the pie and add it to your stash! 🎉

• The Pie Bowl resets to 0, and a new Golden Pie recipe is revealed.

 

3️⃣ Draw a New Ingredient

• Draw 1 Ingredient Card from the deck to keep 5 cards in your hand.

• Your turn ends, and the next player continues baking!

 

🍰 Special Pie Tricks & Sabotage!

Some players might try to sabotage your baking with Pie Trick Cards!

🥧 Pie Snatch! – Steal a Golden Pie from another player’s stash! (Maybe they left it to cool too long! 😆)
💥 Rewind! – Undo the last ingredient added and force the previous player to take it back! (Oops! That sugar spill never happened! 🍚)
🚀 Double Mix! – Toss two ingredients into the Pie Bowl in one turn for a sneaky combo! (Double butter = better pie! 🧈)
💥 Multiplication ! – Multiply the Pie Bowl by 2, 4, or 0 (your choice). (0 means disaster—the pie is ruined, and the bowl is emptied! 😱)
🍦 addition! – Add 1, 2, or 5 (your choice) to the Pie Bowl. (A little extra sweetness never hurts! 🍦)
  Division! – Divide the Pie Bowl by 2, 4, or 5 (your choice). (Be careful not to cut too much!
Subtraction! – Subtract 1, 2, or 5 (your choice) from the Pie Bowl. (Someone took a sneaky bite! 😆)

 

🍽 Leaving the Kitchen (Skipping Your Turn)

• If you can’t change the value of the bowl or don’t want to change the value of the bowl, you can skip your turn.

• Discard a card and draw a fresh one—your turn ends.

💡 Example: The Pie Bowl is 24, and the Golden Pie recipe is 25. Your cards are +10, +7, -10, ÷5, or -8 — none of these will keep the recipes in the bowl close to 25, so skipping this round and drawing a fresh ingredient might be the smarter move.

 

🥧 Example Round: Baking a Golden Pie!

• The Pie Bowl starts at 0, and the Golden Pie recipe is 20.

• Player 1 tosses in +10 apples, bringing the Pie Bowl to 10.

• Player 2 plays ×2 ("Multiplying the ingredients by 2!"), bringing the Pie Bowl to 20.

• The Pie Bowl matches the Golden Pie recipe (20), so Player 2 successfully bakes the pie and adds a 20-Point Golden Pie to their stash! 🎉

• The Pie Bowl resets to 0, and a new Golden Pie recipe (10) is revealed.

• Player 3 stirs in +7 whipped cream, making the Pie Bowl 7.

• Player 4 adds +3 socks, making the Pie Bowl 10.

• The Pie Bowl matches the new Golden Pie recipe (10), so Player 4 bakes the pie! 🍰

• The Pie Bowl resets, and the game continues!

🔥 Whoever has the most points wins at the end !

 

🏆 Winning the Game

• The game ends when all Golden Pies have been baked.

• The player with the most points wins and is crowned Pie Champion! 🏅

🥊 Final Bake-Off (Tiebreaker Round!)

• If there’s a tie, the tied players enter a Final Bake-Off!

• Objective: The first player that makes the mixing bowl = 7  wins!

• The winner earns 7 bonus points! 🎉
